What's the role and what are we looking for?

We are looking for a part-time Finance Administrator at our Monaghan site where you will be working 24 hours per week.

You will be playing a key role in producing reliable financial information and reports for the company. You will be updating bank reconciliations to ensure full recording of all receipts and payments, processing Capex applications, and maintaining records of Fixed Assets and monthly depreciation.

You will also be completing VAT and CSO returns, completing payments for subcontractors and ensuring the correct supporting documentation is available for audits.

Other duties include assisting with daily, weekly and monthly controls within the accounts system, maintaining and updating accruals and prepayment accounts, and completing custom TAN payments.

Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:

  • Business qualification, part qualified accountant or accounting technician qualification
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of accounts functions
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Accounting software
  • Minimum of 2 year's relevant work experience
  • Conscientious and well-organised with good communication skills
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
