Project Manager - Business Change London £60,000 - £65,000 + benefits
A Project Manager is required for this leading specialist law firm. This firm is ranked Tier 1 in their sector and operates on a global scale. They provide specialist advice and have a strong track record of success. This role is in a central management team and will take ownership for projects across the business.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager (Business Change)
- Work cross-functionally with a large variety of stakeholders to lead and manage the full project life cycle for a range of business improvement projects
- Carry out project management responsibilities to a high standard, create and manage project plans, create and manage project logs, lead meetings/workshops effectively
- Work with project teams using a wide range of tools and communication strategies
- Confidently and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
- Introduce change effectively and efficiently
- Complete high-quality stakeholder reporting and presenting
- Proactively contribute ideas for the continuous improvement of the team and project management landscape
Key Skills and Requirements of the Project Manager (Business Change)
- You will be an experienced Project Manager from either a Law Firm, Management Consultancy or other professional services firm
o devising and running project plans
o creating cohesive project teams
o maintaining project documentation
o producing high quality reporting
- Previous experience as a Legal Project Manager would be useful, drawing on your lawyer and client experience
- A professional project management qualification is desirable
- You will have good commercial awareness, ideally with knowledge of law sector economics, or a keen interest in the sector
- Solid, proven change management skills
- Ability to work with uncertainty/ambiguity and achieve outcomes
- Dynamic and intrinsically motivated to deliver to high quality, with a natural sense of urgency and pride in their deliverables
- Capability and confidence to be self-starting and work autonomously
