You'll work with both Corporate and Private clients, providing a valuable opportunity to expand and deepen your expertise across different areas. If you have a preference for focusing more on Corporate or Private Tax duties, this can be accommodated to suit your interests, thanks to the firm's growing workload and flexible approach.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of clients, providing expert advice on both personal and corporate tax matters.
  • Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and capital gains tax.
  • Advising clients on tax planning and mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Assisting in tax investigations and liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Supporting the Partners in the development and execution of the firm's tax strategy.
  • Mentoring junior staff, fostering their professional growth and adherence to the firm's standards.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand the firm's tax service offerings and client base.

What We're Looking For:

  • A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality tax services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to clients.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification, if you're still studying and yet to reach qualification, for the right person this can also work.
  • Proven experience in a tax-focused role within a practice environment, with a track record of managing a diverse client portfolio.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for tax professionals looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment. With the firm's focus on professional development and career progression, this position offers the chance to gain exposure to a broad range of tax issues and work with a diverse client base. The salary is competitive and will be based on experience.
