As well as being an unparalleled source of industry updates, we host digital webinars to bring together thought leaders to share their insights and opinion with our audience.

About you

Do you have a knack for creating compelling stories that can be delivered across multiple platforms to engage diverse audiences? Do you have the SEO skills to get your articles seen? Are you passionate about the food industry and curious about how supply chain issues, sustainability, consumer demand, regulation and food technology are transforming how we feed the world?

If so, we'd love to have you join our dynamic newsroom and contribute to the editorial development of ConfectioneryNews.

What you'll be doing:

  • Researching and delivering compelling daily multimedia content that's optimised for SEO.
  • Sourcing and developing new content ideas and franchises.
  • Hosting webinars and recruiting relevant speakers for panels.
  • Following Global Brand's editorial roadmap and style guides while also contributing to an ever-evolving editorial strategy for the title.
  • Engaging with traffic and registration analytics to understand your audience and optimise content.
  • Using social media for lead sourcing, content sharing and contact building.
  • Establishing yourself as an industry authority for ConfectioneryNews and within relevant industry communities.
  • Attending key industry trade events and conferences in Europe and occasionally beyond.
  • Remaining open to any speaking/chairing/moderating opportunities of benefit to your remit that may arise.
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, event managers and other departments on any projects of potential benefit to ConfectioneryNews.

What you'll need:

  • A background in multimedia journalism. B2B experience is useful but not vital.
  • A sound understanding of SEO and analytics.
  • Solid knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Confident presentation skills and experience moderating panels would be beneficial.
  • To be imaginative and have a strong sense of initiative.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A background within the food industry is advantageous but not essential.
