Nursing Home Manager

Salary: From £83,000 p/a

We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead our client's stunning nursing home, which provides person-centred residential, nursing, and dementia care for older adults. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing nursing homes, a strong track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings, and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader to drive excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager with a successful track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC results.
  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislation and best practices in the care sector, particularly in relation to older adults and dementia care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring exceptional care standards are maintained across residential, nursing, and dementia care.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, driving improvements where needed to achieve Good and Outstanding ratings.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the care team, fostering a positive, supportive environment.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community, ensuring an open and transparent approach to care.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently, ensuring the smooth running of the home.
  • Ensure ongoing staff training and development to maintain the highest levels of care and compliance.
