A well-established business is seeking a highly competent and experienced Secretary to join their busy office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied and dynamic environment, providing support to the partners and team of accountants.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform general office and secretarial duties with a high standard of competence and accuracy.
- Prepare documents using MS Word and Excel, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage digital filing using Iris software, maintaining organised and accessible records.
- Handle reception duties, including welcoming visitors, managing client interactions, and answering telephone calls with professionalism.
- Provide comprehensive support to the two partners and their team, contributing to the smooth operation of the office.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in secretarial and office management roles.
- Familiarity with an accountancy environment is preferable.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Iris software.
- Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
