Project Coordinator

Our client, a growing leader in FMCG is seeking a project coordinator to grow their busy team.

Reporting into the project manager, this role is responsible for supporting and coordinating the 'NewProduct' projects with a focus on product execution to launch.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate NPD projects through the New Initiative Process
  • Support with general Supply Chain projects as required
  • Organise and run project meetings
  • Create project gantt charts
  • Monitor and track progress of projects
  • Ensure all key stakeholders are kept up to date with project progress and change
  • Cover the New Initiative meeting as required
  • Deputise for Project Manager
  • Ensure planning team place orders for NPD material to meet launch dates
  • Ensure material artworks are set up correctly to specification with the Master data and NPD coordinator
  • Coordinate samples from origin for wine options
  • Attend print runs and packaging approvals where appropriate
  • Awareness of NPD budgets (such as shopper projects)
  • Raise FERT requests
  • Update bottling matrix costs as required
  • Support NPD & Masterdata Coordinator with data requests if required
  • Keep supply chain team up to date on product changes
  • Support as required with Procurement initiatives in UK and other international sites
  • Present NIP updates in huddle and monthly meeting
  • Track and improve departmental KPI's and hit defined targets

To apply for this role you will have previous experience within supply chain- particularly in FMCG would be advantageous. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to converse with people on all levels. You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt to change and work on your own initiative.

You will have excellent computer skills, with knowledge of SharePoint and PowerPoint, intermediate/advanced Excel skills- experience using Anaplan would be of a huge advantage.

Due to the location of this role, you must be a car driver as it's not always accessible on public transport.
