Due to an exciting period of growth they are looking to recruit a Supervisor / Assistant Manager to join their team in Oxford. Experienced Manager applications will also be welcomed. This will be a true generalist accountancy practice role and your time will be split between audit (40%), accounts and tax work (60%) providing maximum exposure.
As a member of their team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional accounting services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and depending on level, undertaking audits and accounts work, both in-house and at client locations, reviewing work and assisting in the training of Trainees, working closely with Managers and Partners.

About you
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Experience working within a generalist accountancy practice managing a portfolio of clients varying in both size and sector
- Thorough understanding of the fundamental principles underpinning bookkeeping, accounts, audit and tax and a good current compliance knowledge
- Proficiency in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Excel etc
- You're keen to provide an outstanding and professional service to our clients ensuring exceptional advice and maximum added value
- You're used to taking ownership of your work and demonstrating a proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
- You're a positive team player and an excellent communicator both with clients and colleagues
