What does the job entail?
On behalf of Warwickshire County Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join their Nuneaton team. This is a high-profile post and would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience within Maintenance.
You will achieve this by:
- Identifying and performing general maintenance tasks
- Repairs, including minor redecorations, lamp replacements, carpet tile adjustments, door adjustments, fixing shelves/whiteboards, and basic plumbing (e.g., tap washers, unblocking sinks, cistern maintenance).
- Ensuring all meeting rooms are set up and maintained to the highest standard.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
- Experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
- Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
- Ability to conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- A driving license is essential
