Support Worker - Children's Residential Services
Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour + £55 per sleep-in shift
Location: NW9, London

Are you a caring and committed individual with a passion for supporting young people? We are looking for Support Workers to join our welcoming and Ofsted-rated 'Good' children's home, offering a safe and nurturing environment for children with emotional and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with young people and support their day-to-day needs
  • Promote a safe, stable, and supportive home environment
  • Implement care plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Support young people with education, daily routines, activities, and personal development
  • Maintain clear and accurate records in line with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
  • Contribute to team meetings, training, and the ongoing development of the service
  • Participate in shift work, including sleep-ins (paid at £55 per night)

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential for qualified roles
  • Experience in a residential, care, or youth work setting is desirable
  • A compassionate, resilient, and reliable approach
  • Sound understanding of safeguarding and supporting young people with complex needs
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
