Showroom Assistant – £28,000 – Wimbledon Park, SW19

The Role

Are you a people person with a flair for customer service? Do you have a keen interest in design and architecture If so, SDS London is looking for a Showroom Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will be the welcoming face, ensuring every visitor has a memorable experience. You will guide clients through our extensive range of architectural ironmongery products, helping them find the perfect solutions for their needs. You will also play a key role in maintaining the visual appeal of our showroom and assisting with sales and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers as they enter the showroom, offering a warm and professional welcome. Provide knowledgeable assistance and guidance on our range of architectural ironmongery products.
  • Sales Support: Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, preparing quotes, processing sales orders, and handling transactions efficiently.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our product range, staying updated with new arrivals and industry trends to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times.

Our considerable experience and expertise mean we are able to provide the highest levels of service to leading construction projects in the UK, Europe and overseas.

The Person

  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a retail or showroom environment.
  • An interest in architecture, interior design, or related fields is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge continuously.
