Are you passionate about food and looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? I am working with one of the world's leading food manufacturers and they are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Engineering Planner Administrator to join the team. In this role, you'll support the Engineering department, manage budgets, and play a key part in planning Preventative Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, quality, and legal standards. Lead by example and support HSE initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Maintain and update maintenance budgets, attend weekly budget meetings, and generate budget reports.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Support the team using the Preventative Maintenance System (Piranha) by adding new tasks, uploading completed tasks, and building reports.
  • Stock & Inventory Control: Manage stock, inventory controls, and the asset register across all sites.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and support continuous improvement projects and maintain high standards during audits and customer visits.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure adherence to quality and food safety systems and promote a culture of continuous improvement in product quality.

Relationships and Authority:

  • Report directly to the Factory Manager
  • Collaborate with Engineering Coordinators across UK sites.
  • Build strong working relationships with Process Managers, Packing Managers, Hygiene Managers, Quality Managers, Warehouse Managers, and HSE Managers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Engineering planning and administrative experience is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational and planning skills, attention to detail, strong computer literacy, and good communication skills.
  • Attributes: Ability to work in a team, analytical mindset, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
  • Competencies: Strong time management, flexibility, adaptability, and an approachable style.
  • Experience working with safety systems or in a safety-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering Planning and Administrative Experience (Essential)
  • Full UK Driver's License (Essential)
