Join us and play your part in keeping London safe.

It's an exciting time to be working within SO15 Counter Terrorism Command and the National Digital Exploitation Service (NDES). As a Digital Project Officer, your role will place you in DMEU - a unit that focuses on exploiting all aspects of digital media.

As part of the DMEU team, you'll identify, retrieve, assess, and produce evidence from a wide range of digital and video devices for Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) investigations. You'll also assess material that may contravene the Terrorism Act (TACT) and include it in relevant website libraries and databases. This means you will need HTML and CSS web development skills, as well as full training in all kinds of viewing tools. With your understanding of digital media devices and structures, together with data recovery techniques, you'll provide officers with fast-track information for their investigations.

As we move to greater integration with our National Security partners, there may be opportunities to access and view data in a more analytical way. It may also be possible to make more use of artificial intelligence to create greater efficiency.

In return for your efforts, you can expect a competitive salary, a Civil Service pension, excellent career development, and a highly fulfilling role.
