We are seeking a Paralegal to join our clients Real Estate and Business Department. The ideal candidate will have experience within the legal profession, preferably with a background in Commercial or Residential Property. This role offers a varied workload and the opportunity for professional development through provided training.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist fee earners with the management of transactions and provide comprehensive administrative support.
- Liaise with clients regarding costs, progress, and timescales of transactions.
- Conduct legal research to support cases and transactions.
- Submit searches and Land Registry applications as required.
- Draft case papers and transactional documents with guidance and support.
- Negotiate terms and prepare reports for clients.
- Administer the firm's client ‘on boarding' procedures, including transactional risk assessment and compliance.
- Handle file opening, billing, paying costs, and closing files efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paralegal within a Commercial or Residential Property Department is ideal.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant legal software.
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Personable and professional demeanour.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
