About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with SEND, ensuring they have equal opportunities to succeed in a mainstream educational environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students with SEND in various subjects
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Encouraging positive social interactions and promoting inclusion
- Monitoring and reporting on students' progress
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND qualifications)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ?? A caring and patient nature, with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
