Payroll Officer

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting an interim Payroll Officer. This role will be circa 12 months for a part-time position with hybrid working, offering a great benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data Input: Keep payroll info accurate.
  • Payroll Processing: Run Sage payroll, handle adjustments (e.g., vouchers, new starters, leavers).
  • Pensions: Manage auto-enrolment and contributions, upload reports, and contact providers.
  • Updates: Update payroll spreadsheets monthly.
  • Records: Keep payroll info organized.
  • Queries: Answer payroll questions.
  • Filing: File and archive payroll documents

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience within a similar/related role
  • Sage Payroll experience
  • Good working knowledge of RTI, autoenrollment and pensions
  • IT and analytical skills
