Salary: £25k - £30k p.a

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Planner to join our clients team in Penryn on a permanent basis. As a Manufacturing Production Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring production schedules are met through careful production planning and materials management

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain conversion schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Plan and coordinate the use of eight conversion assets and packing area.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to align schedules with customer requirements.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to address any delays or changes in priority.
  • Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Communicate lead times and any changes effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on production and conversion activities.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve planning processes and efficiency.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a planning or scheduling role, preferably within a manufacturing environment - Essential.
  • Previous Line Management - Desirable
  • Problem Solving / Process Improvement and application of - Desirable.
  • Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing qualification - Desirable
  • Familiarity with ERP/ MRP Systems - Desirable
  • Proficiency in planning and scheduling software - Desirable
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Forward-thinking and proactive approach.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Hours/Benefits:

  • 40-hour week with 30 min unpaid break
  • Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00
