Supported Housing Officer
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Join the dynamic team as a Supported Housing Officer on a contract basis. Based at a project in South Glos, you will be an integral part of our Supported Housing department, reporting to the Team Leader.
- Facilitate trusting relationships and tailored support for individuals with complex needs
- Promote opportunities for education, training, and employment
- Work collaboratively with external agencies to enhance support outcomes
Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience in supported housing and homelessness support
- Demonstrated expertise in tenancy sustainment and benefit advice
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to assess support needs and manage rent accounts
- A commitment to continual professional development and safeguarding procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in social services or related field
- Training or certification in welfare benefits and financial advice
- Understanding of health and safety compliance within supported housing environments
