Job Title: Part-Time Financial Controller
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (Full-Time Equivalent) - salary will be pro-rata'd
Location: Central London (Hybrid)

Edward Mann is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Controller on behalf of a high-growth Charity based in Central London. Our client is looking for a candidate who can do a minimum of 1 or 2 days in the office, and the rest of the work can be completed from home.

Our client is ideally seeking a qualified (may consider non-qualified with the right experience) finance professional to take a hands-on approach to support the finances of the organisation, from day-to-day transactional operations, to help drive improvements within the finance function and support the board with regular reporting and insight.

The ideal candidate will bring practical expertise and leadership to guide and develop the existing finance team while overseeing key accounting and reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly financial reports
  • Improve and develop financial systems and processes
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Prepare budgets and update quarterly forecasts
  • Discuss financial performance with the Chief of Staff and department heads
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
  • Supervise bookkeeping firm
  • Manage credit control process
  • Approve purchase invoices

Desirables:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), candidates who are not qualified but with relevant experience may still be considered
