Supply Chain Administrator
8am – 5pm – fully office based
West Kent – MUST DRIVE
£25,000 - £28,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our well-established client based in West Kent. This role will be heavily customer service and administration based, our client is looking for a committed and driven candidate to join their team! The ideal candidate will have previous administrative/customer service in a fast paced FMCG environment.
Duties for this role include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the buying team with stock management and the movement of stock between multiple sites.
- Managing customer enquiries and updating records with relevant and accurate information.
- Placing orders with suppliers.
- Confirming delivery dates.
- Processing invoices.
- Dealing with customs clearance.
- Ordering stationary for the office.
- Supporting with administrative tasks and forecast planning.
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when required.
The successful candidate for this role will have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG. (administrative/customer service/supply chain/purchasing/stock control).
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A quick learner and willing to learn new systems.
- Able to make independent decisions and resolve customer problems effectively.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Forward thinking with a positive work attitude.
- Valid Full UK driving licence (due to location of the role).
