Timeplan are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teacher for a long term Contract beginning in September at an exclusive Special needs school that specialises in POST 16+ student in the London Borough of Brent.
Responsibilities
- The successful SEN Teacher (core subjects) will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parents' evenings.
- This school needs a SEN Teacher who is excited to motivate and engage students, and who thrives on the challenge of working in a demanding, yet rewarding environment.
- The SEN Teacher chosen for this role will be responsible for working with a range of abilities and be comfortable catering to the broad needs of their students.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a mathematics-related degree or relevant subject knowledge.
- A genuine passion for working with students with SEMH needs, and a commitment to their holistic development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students,parents, and colleagues.
- Resilience, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- A reflective and growth-oriented mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and improvement.
