Spanish Teacher (Primary)

Salary: MPS (specific amount to be discussed)

Job Type: Temporary- September 2024- December 2024 (potential for permanent employment for the right candidate)

Hours: Part-time (3 days per week)

Reed are supporting a primary school in Bradford with the recruitment of a Spanish Teacher to join their team from September 2024 onwards, this role has the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is eager to contribute to their ethos of nurturing students and delivering an exciting curriculum.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Oversee students' work within Spanish and ensure that the learning experiences offered to them are appropriate and relevant to their needs.
  • Plan and deliver outstanding lessons in line with Primary Spanish Curriculum.
  • Lead a curriculum subject confidently, contributing to the school's development.
  • Foster a happy, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
  • Implement effective pedagogy to raise attainment and accelerate progress.
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues, children, parents, governors, and external agencies.
  • Reflect on teaching practices and lead by example, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • QTS (this role would suit someone with a Primary PGCE, or a Secondary MFL specialist)
  • Proven track record in teaching and learning across Primary
  • Strong commitment to raising pupil achievement.
  • Ability to work as an active member of the school team.
  • Confidence in leading a curriculum subject.
  • Commitment to inclusion and the ability to cater to all children.
  • Efficient and organised with the ability to self-manage in a busy school environment.
