HR Operations Team Leader

This is a hybrid role offering only 1 day a week in office alongside a salary of up to £32,420 plus a full range of benefits.

Your new roleThis is an important operational delivery role which is focused on leading and managing a small team of administrators, supporting and enabling them to deliver high quality services and achieve service delivery targets.

  • Enable support and motivate your team to achieve KPIs, SLAs and other delivery targets
  • Foster and develop a proactive and customer centric approach to service delivery, including delivering high quality end user experiences
  • Day to day operational team management including allocating work, managing work volumes and effectively distributing resource
  • Identify and flag any service delivery risks to the Operational Manager
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to agree a plan to effectively manage any team sickness absence, performance issues and recruitment needs in line with organisational policy
  • Provide support and guidance with team processing queries and escalate, where necessary, complex queries to the Operations Manager/SME
  • Regularly conduct a skills gap analysis and implement a training and coaching plan as required
  • Facilitate and participate in the cross skilling of the HR Operations team

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability and skills to manage a small operational team effectively
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy levels
  • Good Microsoft Office Knowledge
  • Ability and skills to manage a small operational team effectively
  • Ability to influence others to achieve service delivery targets
  • Previous experience of using Oracle or a similar ERP system for data entry
  • An understanding and ability to prioritise own and team workload in a fast-paced environment to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  • Confident in communicating with customers and internal stakeholders by phone and email, in a clear and concise manner to manage expectations
  • Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system
