Vision Teaching are working in partnership with a successful Middle School in their search for a new Art Teacher for September 2024. The school are looking to organise interviews as early as possible, so candidates are advised to apply quickly to avoid missing out on this opportunity!
The School
This school caters for students KS1 - KS3 and has a warm and welcoming community ethos. SLT are highly organised and supportive, and the school has fantastic resources in the art department. Classes have plenty of support from experienced Teaching Assistants and behaviour across the school is of a very high standard.
The Role
As the Art Teacher, you will be responsible for planning lessons across KS2 and KS3. Your role will be to inspire the pupils to develop a love for art and to embrace their individual creativity. You will work alongside other subject teachers to coordinate topic work to ensure students are making the most of cross curricular learning. You will also prepare students for leaving school and taking on Art at GCSE level should they wish to.
