Location: Coventry / Hybrid
Work Pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00-18:00 in line with a rota pattern (8-4 / 10-6) plus Emergency Out of Hours rota (including weekends)

Our busy maintenance team carry out repairs on around 19,000 customer homes within the Coventry area. As Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of around 12 experienced Trade Engineers and Contractors carrying out responsive domestic repairs in a social housing setting.
This role involves the requirement to participate in an out of hours emergency support rota (attracting additional payment).
As Supervisor we need you to have:
- Experience of staff management including performance, attendance and absence, conduct, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Experience of dealing with customers and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively work with customers, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver business objectives
- Ability to manage priorities effectively.
- A good level of IT literacy including the use of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word, and experience of working with dynamic scheduling and housing management systems (such as Active H or DRS/Opti-time)
- Experience and knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and good practice in a repairs and maintenance setting
- Driving licence
