SEN Teacher

Based in a fantastic West London location, this prestigious independent school is seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join their team permanently, starting this September!

You will be responsible for coordinating subject teaching, including phonics, and for ensuring high standards of teaching and learning throughout the school.

You will thrive on collaboration with colleagues and relish the opportunity to manage curriculum delivery and assessment, contributing directly to the overall running and improvement of the school.

As well as providing the highest quality teaching, learning and assessment, you will use, develop and share knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behaviour approaches and methodology within all teaching opportunities and ensure that your personal knowledge of best practice and developments in ABA/VB is kept up to date.

  • Curriculum Leadership
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing the curriculum
  • Ensuring that the curriculum is inclusive, engaging, and aligned with national standards and best practices

As well as holding QTS or PGCE, you will have extensive teaching experience, preferably in a specialist setting. You will also have strong understanding of special educational needs and inclusive teaching practices, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a specialisation in a specific subject area (e.g., Mathematics, Science, English).
