One of our clients are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Caretaker/Cleaner to join their team. This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and smooth operation of our building's communal areas. About the role:
- Salary £13.50/hr 35 hours per week = £24,570/annum
- Hours of work 8am - 4pm with an hour for lunch
- Holiday 20 days a year with an additional day per full year to a maximum of 30days excluding bank holidays.

- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Duties:
- Clean internal communal areas including foyers, corridors, and stairwells (floors, doors, glass, handrails, internal surfaces of windows).
- Remove litter from external areas such as gated carparks, external carparks, and paths around the perimeter of the building.
- Maintain stock of cleaning products and equipment
- Conduct weekly fire alarm tests.
- Ensure bin stores are kept tidy and bins are in the correct position.
- Liaise with NCC to request replacement bins when required.
- Liaising with contractors.
- Liaising with new owners/occupiers.
- Check CCTV as required.
- Export footage and email it to the Property Manager.
- Conduct daily walk-arounds of the building.
- General Maintenance/Decoration Tasks.
- Report maintenance issues to the Property Manager.
- Electricity Meter Reading.
- Maintain the key safe and key register (noting keys present, check-out/in times, etc.).
- Maintain the fire alarm print-out log.
- Maintain the weekly task/issue log.
- Maintain the toolset/toolbox.
- Conduct weekly/bi-weekly 'check-ins' with the Property Manager to discuss the weekly task/issue log, role discussions, leave requests, etc.
