Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a role that fits around your life? Reed Accountancy is on the lookout for a dedicated Finance Assistant to support our clients' accounting needs across a diverse group of businesses.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Comprehensive Support: Provide accounting and administrative assistance across multiple businesses, including managing inter-company reconciliations and purchase ledgers.
- Invoice Processing: Handle invoice processing, maintain ledger control, manage weekly supplier payments, and oversee petty cash and shop expenses.
- Reconciliations: Reconcile daily sales from retail outlets and online customer receipts and perform bank reconciliations for all other online payments.
- Credit Card Management: Post credit card payments, reconcile statements, and calculate weekly staff hours.
- Staff Support: Process and record staff holiday forms, ensuring accurate holiday tracking, and manage expenses, floats, and shop expenditures.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: AAT Qualified or qualified by experience.
- Software Skills: Knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
