We are delighted to be working with a business based in Carterton that are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in a similar role, offering up to £34,000 + Study Support.
Responsibilities:
- Post all daily bank transactions for approval
- Assist with month end procedures
- Assist with year end audit
- Assist with managing the accounts receivable mailbox
- Assist with handling customer calls regarding payment matters and chasing overdue debt
- Assist with managing the accounts payable mailbox
- Assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies in quantity or price on invoices
- Support with resolving and responding to payment/invoice disputes/queries
- Assist with reconciliation of supplier statements and address any discrepancies
- Scan, file and log all account documents to IFS
- Support the Team Leader with adhoc work and projects

- Previous experience in a similar position
- Working collaboratively as a Team
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills including Excel
