Job Role & Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- No1 Project Manager on dry lining and ceiling project with a £2 million value
- Work closely with main contractor and site management team
- Manage direct labour and sub-contractors offering technical advice when needed.
- Oversee quality control and upload all relevant information.
- Reporting into a Contracts Manager regularly update on site progress.
- Commercially aware and ensure the project is completed within budget.
- Attend Site Management meetings and update main contractors.
- Order materials and plant for site
- Carry out toolbox talks and ensure health and safety processes are followed
- Quality control responsibilities evidencing and uploading work on the relevant IT systems
Company Details
- Typical project value £1 -3 million
- Specialist drywall and ceilings contractor
- Work for leading main contractors in the region
- Work mainly on commercial projects including education and healthcare.
Knowledge/Experience:
- A strong technical knowledge on drywall and ceilings.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First aid qualifications
- Preferably a fixer by trade
- Good IT skills and able to complete technical reports
- A proven track record of delivering similar projects
