Day to Day of the role:
- Work as part of the Personalisation Team, led by the SENCO, to support students with a range of SEND needs.
- Lead on a specific area of SEND provision, such as small group tutoring, and develop expertise to meet the needs of our cohort.
- Contribute to improving standards in English, Maths, and Science by working with students on a 1:1 level and within small intervention groups.
- Share the school's vision that all young people can achieve at high levels.
- Be involved in setting up and managing EAL provision for the next academic year under the guidance of the SENCo.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A*-C grade in English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Experience working with young people in both 1:1 and small group settings.
- Experience of working in a Primary or Secondary school setting is desirable.
- Evidence of holding high aspirations for young people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong numeracy and written and oral communication abilities.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and strategic in challenging contexts.
- Commitment to the ethos of the school.
- A satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
