KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Manager, Implementation Manager- Industrial Consumables, Components and Equipment Supply Chain Solutions to Manufacturing and Construction Industries.

  • Working closely with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process but mostly once the business has been won, to make sure that you firstly understand the customer's issues and needs and then deliver on the solution proposed and then signed up for by the customer as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
  • Most of your time will concentrate on delivery once the business is won throughout the lifetime of the project's implementation. This will involve a lot of liaison and building relationships and trust with key decision makers and stakeholders at customers and internally, also with vendors and third party service and product suppliers and providers.
  • There is no one size fits all solution so a flexible and nimble approach is required rather than a very structured or rigid Prince 2 or Microsoft Project, spreadsheets- based methodology. However, if you have these but can embrace the fluid nature of the role this could be an advantage.
  • Although there is some degree of implementation in the role this is more around the project plan and not physical implementation for which there is a separate team with whom you will also liaise closely.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Project Manager, Implementation Manager- Industrial Consumables, Components and Equipment Supply Chain Solutions to Manufacturing and Construction Industries.

To be considered for this interesting, varied role which could offer very good career progression in an pivotal and expanding function of a multinational company you will have:

  • Whilst a formal project management qualification would be desirable these are not a "one size fits all" solutions, so you will need to be flexible in your approach.
  • You will be have excellent organisational and prioritising skills.
