Your new company is a global manufacturer and designer of an innovative suite of products.
Your new role is reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for :
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals/accruals/prepayments
- Preparation of management reporting packs and KPIs.
- Weekly P&L accounting to contribution level, encompassing variance reporting, analysis and investigation.
- Support preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
- Contact for internal and external audits.
- Provide a variety of cost analysis - e.g. direct and indirect labour, material usage, overhead analysis by cost centre.
- Gross margin reports and analysis.
- Key person in budgeting and forecasting preparation work with cost centre managers to provide meaningful predictions.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Stock controlling, e.g. stock provisions, stock takes
- Capital expenditure appraisals and project tracking
- Oversight of purchase and sales ledgers and credit control activities
What you'll need to succeed is to be qualified by experience or hold one of the professional accountancy qualifications. You are likely to have had a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy partnering with cost centre managers.
