Payroll Manager
Day Rate: £250-£325.
Location: City of London - Hybrid working available
A leading global consulting firm is seeking a Payroll Manager on a temporary basis to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of monthly payrolls across 7 European countries, including the UK. This is a pivotal role offering hybrid working arrangements and a competitive day rate, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with payroll providers to ensure adherence to processes and timely delivery of services.
- Accurately calculate wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions for each country.
- Ensure timely and accurate remittance of taxes, pension contributions, and other deductions.
- Maintain compliance with governmental reporting requirements, such as P11D's and PSA for the UK.
- Work closely with the Benefits teams to address employee-related issues.
- Assist with Global Mobility issues, including the identification and management of shadow payrolls.
- Address and resolve payroll queries efficiently.
- Prepare and provide payroll documentation for audit purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Membership with the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals.
- Experience with various payroll providers, including ADP Freedom.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and with various levels of employees, as well as external providers.
