Salary: £39,390 (National Framework) or £44,792 (London Framework - if you are London office-based or home-based and live within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home.
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week - or compressed hours/job share will also be considered.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Home-based with regular meetings in London, Newcastle or Leeds office

What you will bring...

To be considered as our Portfolio Raid and Controls Manager, you will need:

- Experience of operating risks, issues and controls activity within a project and/or programme environment
- Good knowledge of a wide range of programme/project methodologies and demonstrable experience of applying them appropriately in different contexts
- Experience of improving performance by coaching individuals
- Experience of learning from and embracing new technologies
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders with wide ranging and often competing priorities
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management experience
- A P3O Practitioner qualification
- A PRINCE2 Foundation qualification
- A Management of Risk Practitioner qualification

What you'll be doing

As our Portfolio Raid and Controls Manager, you will manage and control risk and issues across a recently-transformed digital service-based environment.

You'll ensure that timely, consistent and effective controls are in place, co-ordinating the identification, documentation, monitoring and reporting of risks and issues, and supporting the development of mitigation plans.

Leading the development and delivery of best practice management controls, you'll act as our subject matter expert on risk and issue management, ensuring that our change activity is routinely seeking out and managing risks.

Additionally, you will:

- Develop and implement a range of standards for risks, issues, and controls principles
- Upskill colleagues to practice their discipline across the portfolio
- Work with both internal and external senior stakeholders
- Develop and maintain product and process documentation
