Reed Marketing and Creative are looking for a Communications Officer to join a friendly Communications Team and play a pivotal role in enhancing engagement, reputation, and brand. We are looking for a dedicated Communications Officer to develop and deliver high-quality communications plans and campaigns. This is a 6-month interim position with the potential to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the Communications Strategy to reinforce the Council's core priorities.
- Craft and disseminate compelling stories and key messages across various channels to effectively reach their audiences.
- Proactively engage employees and the public, ensuring they are well-informed about the organisations services and initiatives.
- Create high-quality visual content and engaging copy for both written and digital media platforms.
- Manage media relations, optimise social media engagement, and contribute to the organisations communication during crises.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a communications role
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive communications plans using diverse channels and tactics.
- Proficiency in creative design software (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) and strong copywriting skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with the capacity to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
