Responsibilities:

  • Assist with research and data collection related to wildlife ecology and conservation, in particular to Bat surveys.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and refine rescue techniques and tools.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure personal and team safety during climbing operations.
  • Document and report rescue activities, including capturing photos and videos for educational and awareness purposes.
  • Provide education and training to the public and stakeholders about wildlife conservation and rescue techniques.

Requirements:

  • Strong climbing skills and experience using ropes, harnesses, and other climbing equipment.
  • Proficiency in identifying and handling different species of wildlife.
  • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations related to wildlife conservation and rescue operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and external partners.
  • Physical fitness and agility to work in challenging outdoor environments and withstand extreme weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various rescue sites.
