- Machine Operation:
- Operate various types of machinery used in the manufacturing process.
- Ensure machines are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain quality and output.
- Quality Control:
- Regularly inspect products for quality standards.
- Identify and report any defects or issues in the production process.
- Perform necessary adjustments to ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing machinery as needed.
- Report any major mechanical issues to the maintenance team or supervisor.
- Safety:
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Participate in safety training and drills.
- Production Reporting:
- Keep accurate records of production quantities, machine performance, and any incidents.
- Submit daily reports to the shift supervisor or plant manager.
- Material Handling:
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor levels throughout the shift.
- Handle finished products, ensuring they are properly stored or moved to the next stage of production.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other machine operators and team members to ensure continuous production flow.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing waste.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to supervisors for process enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate and troubleshoot various types of machinery.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying quality issues and ensuring precision in machine operation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a physically demanding environment.
- Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday (4 days), 7.30am-7.30pm- 12 hour shifts. 46 hours paid per week after breaks. Overtime Available
