Job Title: FLT Reach Driver
Location: Trafford Park
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 07.00 - 19.00 hrs - 4on/4off
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced FLT Reach Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling stock accurately and safely. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring all activities are carried out accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
- Always maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Use RF equipment to put away stock and pick items based on provided paperwork.
- Ensure all stock in the warehouse is free from damage, rotated correctly, and stored in accordance with company standards.
- Stack goods in the correct bay and follow stock control instructions.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Complete daily checks of material handling equipment (MHE) and warehouse areas for damage and rectify or report issues immediately.
- Maintain MHE to a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with the standards expected by the Green Group.
- Assist with stock checks as required.
- Ensure all paperwork is stored securely and completed accurately.
- Maintain general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with any other warehouse duties within capabilities and training.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, ISO9001, and ISO14001 policies and procedures.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Valid FLT Reach Truck License.
- Experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
