Are you a creative and strategic marketer with a passion for driving brand awareness and sales growth? Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team ASAP!

As the Marketing Manager, you will take the lead in developing and executing marketing strategies to increase market share and support sales growth. You will have the opportunity to shape the brand messaging, create compelling content, and manage all marketing activities.

This is an exciting role where you will be responsible for managing a re-brand, launching a new industry-leading website, and developing captivating marketing materials. Eventually, there will be scope to manage a larger team, however in the first instance, you will be solely responsible for the Marketing. This is a new position, allowing you to make the role your own!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the brand messaging across all platforms and materials, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Create engaging and educational articles, promotional pieces, and detailed product copy
  • Develop promotional content and imagery for various platforms, including training and company presentations.
  • Create a yearly marketing plan with a budget and manage its execution.
  • Coordinate the workflow of the marketing team and provide weekly updates on progress.
  • Maintain and update the company website with new products and technical data.
  • Collaborate with the product team on product launches, creating campaigns that engage customers.
  • Organise and manage exhibitions and customer events both in the UK and overseas.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Liaise with lighting designers and customers to gather project images.
  • Manage award entries and stay connected with the lighting industry and its events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
  • Proven experience in understanding and articulating a brand's position across various platforms
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing.
  • Photography experience is a huge plus.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of humour.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, In-design, Photoshop, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
