Job Title: Group Management Accountant (Fully Qualified)

Location: Wokingham

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Job Overview:

My client are seeking a highly skilled and fully qualified Group Management Accountant to join the fast growing finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support key business decisions across multiple entities within the group. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring effective financial control and performance management at the group level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for the group.
  • Consolidate financial results from multiple subsidiaries and business units.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Present key financial data to senior management, highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities.
  • Production and in-depth analysis of the Group's consolidated financial results
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare rolling forecasts for the group.
  • Conduct variance analysis and report on performance against budgets/forecasts.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making at group level.
  • Monitor and evaluate key business drivers, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Continuously review and improve financial processes and controls across the group.
  • Ensure best practices are implemented in financial reporting and management accounting.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in financial consolidation and multi-currency reporting is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a SME environment would be an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior management.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
