As a Tax Analyst you would ensure accurate completion of tax reporting, meeting all deadlines. You'd also assist in tax analysis and impact of future projects ensuring the business remain tax compliant.
Key responsibilities for a Tax Analyst
- To prepare and maintain of all required tax records, returns and reporting, including Corporation Tax - UK & Ireland and VAT - UK & Ireland
- Prepare and maintain tax records, returns, reports, and other related materials
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations
- Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with regulations
- To assist in maintaining transfer pricing documentation for UK and Ireland
- Analyse tax risks and issues and identify opportunities for tax savings
- Monthly reconciliation of all VAT related balance sheet control accounts, including accurate summaries, timely resolution of reconciling items and advising on & actioning recoverability of aged items.
- Forecasting of VAT return cash inflows & outflows, following prior trends and incorporating current business activities.
- Provide support in the year-end financial audit for all tax queries and deliverables.
