Position: Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: Kirklees-based Secondary Schools
Salary: £85 - £100 per day
About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to join our team in various Kirklees-based secondary schools starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students' educational journey and work within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning experience.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure they have equal access to learning opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
- Participate in school activities, events, and meetings as required.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undertake necessary training.
