We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to lead the team and ensure the highest standards of care and compliance.
Our client, Sandrock Nursing Home is a well-established care home dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of Sandrock Nursing Home, ensuring a safe, caring, and effective environment.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing and care staff to maintain excellent standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor and improve service quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the resident experience and care outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with CQC and company standards.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the financial viability of the home.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in turning around a nursing care home.
- Proven track record of successful CQC registration as a manager.
- Demonstrated experience with previous CQC inspections and compliance.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to start as soon as possible.
