We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join this vibrant school community in Redbridge.
Position: Music Teacher
Salary: £34,514 to £51,179
Location: Redbridge, London
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status required
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging music lessons to students of varying ages and abilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
- Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
- A teacher must set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Plan, prepare, and implement a balanced and diverse music curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Organise and direct school concerts, performances, and music-related events
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music education into cross-curricular activities
- Maintain classroom instruments and resources, ensuring they are used effectively and safely
- Encourage students' personal growth through individual and group music projects
