Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of survivors of domestic abuse? Join a leading provider across South Glos as an IDVA and play a key role in providing outreach and community-based support to victims of domestic abuse. This is a contract role where you will empower survivors, increase their options, and facilitate positive choices for themselves and their children.

- Support survivors to enhance their safety, empowerment, and awareness of domestic abuse and risk factors
- Empower survivors to maintain their current accommodation, access welfare benefits, legal advice, alternative housing, and support services
- Champion service user empowerment and involvement by ensuring accessible, strength-based, and solution-focused support
Preferred Requirements:
- Extensive experience within domestic violence services or IDVA qualification
- Ability to co-deliver survivor programs and support group activities
- Proven track record of liaising effectively with agencies and community groups to provide meaningful community engagement for service users
- Demonstrated capability in conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans
- Experience in making referrals to support services for substance misuse and mental health assessments
Preferred Qualifications:
- IDVA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification in the field of healthcare and social services
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- DBS clearance
