Our client is a well established accountancy practice based near Westcliff on sea, Essex.
Due to ongoing growth, they are keen to bring on board a Semi Senior Accountant with at least 2 years practice experience.
They offer a full range of accounting services to their clients, who include sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies. Working as part of a small and friendly team, your key duties will include:
Preparing accounts
Tax computations
Preparing VAT returns
Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
Bookkeeping and management accounts
Statutory work
Reviewing the work of junior staff and assisting with their training
This a varied role within a well-established business and offers a relaxed and friendly working environment.
The right person will need to be a team player, capable of managing their own workload but also happy to help out other staff as necessary. An experienced Semi-Senior Accountant with previous experience of working in accountancy practice and an AAT qualification or ACCA trainee would be an ideal candidate, though anyone who is confident in putting together a set of accounts within a practice environment is encouraged to apply. Full study support is available for ACCA or AAT if desired.
The hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 9-5.30 and Fridays 9-4.30.
