Description
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Conduct regular ledger operations
- Review and process reimbursements
- Handle monthly payroll activities
- Ensure compliance with state revenue service
- Support the Accounting & Finance department during internal and external audits
- Prepare documents and interpret financial information for managers
Profile
The successful Accounts Assistant will have:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
