I am currently recruiting for a Production Cook on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Nottingham (NG2).

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Cook to join our team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the food industry and is looking to take the next step in their career.

Duties of the Production Cook will include:

  • To maintain food hygiene and safety requirements including daily audits of standards
  • To contribute to a welcoming and supportive and clean environment.
  • Records equipment status and stock levels, notifying any shortages or food deterioration and equipment failures.
  • Working to strict timescales
  • Following recipes accurately
  • Taking responsibility for the area you work in
  • To prepare and cook multiple types and style of foods. This is to include preparing foods as directed in relation to menu development
  • To prepare and cook products , in line with the recipes and production plans

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in the food industry is essential.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate- essential
  • Catering Qualification: City and Guilds 706 or equivalent (HCC)- essential
  • Minimum of 1 year's catering experience.

The hours for this is 37 hours per week Monday-Friday 7.30am- 3.30pm.

Pay is from £11.59 per hour PAYE or £14.51 via Umbrella.
