Computing Lecturer

We are seeking an experienced Computing Lecturer to join our client's academic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, organisation, and delivery of our FdSc Computing programme, as well as teaching a variety of computing-related courses to students with diverse abilities. This role involves collaboration with the University of Greenwich and Pearson and contributing to the curriculum development and expansion of the department.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach across a range of computing-related courses, including Level 4 and 5.
- Work closely with the Curriculum Manager to develop and expand the computing department.
- Assist in the promotion of computing courses and participate in marketing events as required.
- Engage in curriculum development in collaboration with the University of Greenwich and Pearson.
- Deliver clear and articulate teaching and presentations to class groups.
- Maintain efficient administration to support good student record keeping and academic progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of Level 7 qualification in Computing related degrees.
- Qualified HE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in teaching and presentations.
- Strong administration skills to support student record keeping.
